BEYOND
THE ABSOLUTE
In the Marche region, a geographical area world-famous for the production of esteemed musical instruments, Audison started its long history in the pursuit of audio preformance perfection.
The Dual Mono configuration of the HV Venti uses four Synchro-PWM power supplies that ensure an extremely fast response to current transients, enhancing sound quality. The input circuit is fully balanced up to the final stage, while the amplifier's entire configuration avoids electromagnetic interference by routing outside the main board.
Another significant innovation of the HV Venti is its output stage, based on a hybrid MOSFET-BJT topology, which uses discrete devices to enhance efficiency and power dissipation. This solution allows maintaining a high bias current on each output device, thereby increasing Class A efficiency.
The HV Venti offers a Dual Power function that allows configuring the output in two modes: Hi Current and Hi Power. This flexibility enables the amplifier to adapt to the impedance and power handling specifications of the connected speakers, optimizing audio performance according to specific needs.
To ensure the highest sound quality, the preamplifier uses fully balanced JFET differential stages with an output buffer for the control unit. Additionally, the progressive cooling system ensures that the operating temperature of active elements remains constant, positively influencing sound quality.
The amplifier features a scratch-resistant tempered glass and strategically placed white, red, and blue LED lights, allowing you to admire the complexity and beauty of its internal design.
In summary, the Audison Thesis HV Venti is an amplifier that combines technological innovation, elegant design, and unparalleled audio performance, positioning itself as a benchmark in the Hi-End mobile electronics world.
Four Synchro-PWM power supplies allow a very fast transient current response and create a Dual Mono configuration.
HV venti employs a unique output power stage topology, discrete IGBT, made by two Hitachi DMOS driving two pairs of complementary Sanken power BJT, each rated for 30A peak current and 200 W dissipation.
It is made of two groups, Front End pre-amplifier and control unit. The whole stage is balanced up to the driver outputs. The power supply voltage is 90 V and is specific for this stage and dedicated to the two separate channels. The separate 150 V power supply is thermally stabilized and A Class biasing. Input is balanced with the first stage, complementary JFET differential and the second stage, complementary BJT differential. The voltage amplifier is Cascode type with a buffer to drive the output stage.
