A UNESCO World Heritage Site less than two hours away from Bristol is hosting its annual jousting tournament next month. A weekend of medieval activities at Blenheim Palace over the early May bank holiday.
Set to be an 'action-packed battlefield', the event will take visitors back to medieval times and old English traditions. Visitors can expect knights, noble steeds, archery, falconry, living history performances and an array of other immersive experiences.
Home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1705, the estate in Oxfordshire is set in more than 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland and is the birthplace of one of Britain's most famous leaders, Sir Winston Churchill.
