There is uncertainty surrounding the future of one of the city's major art venues, Bristol's Propyard. According to its Google listing the Feeder Road venue has been listed as 'permanently closed'.
Propyard's website has also disappeared and is no longer appearing online at time of writing, and the venue's social media profiles such as its Instagram page are empty of posts, information and imagery. BristolLive has approached Propyard for comment.
Propyard has played host to events such as the Van Gogh Experience, as well as live music and seasonal festivals like Winter Wonderland, but has recently faced some financial difficulties. At the end of last year, the venue cancelled all of its remaining Winterland events due to 'increased costs' amid the cost of living crisis.

The announcement to cancel the event was made following a number of complaints made by customers a week prior, who had turned up to find that the venue had been temporarily closed without warning, leaving some out of pocket. In a statement made on December 8, the team at Propyard apologised for the inconvenience, saying they had 'some unexpected challenges' with their heating system, which meant that they had to close the venue and refund ticket holders across a number of evenings. The statement added the venue was by that time back open and 'operating as normal'.
Then on Wednesday, December 13, the Propyard Team told Bristol Live the rest of its Winterland dates would be cancelled with immediate effect. The statement said: "We are sad to announce that we will be cancelling the remaining Winterland dates at Propyard this year.
"In the current economic climate, we are experiencing increased costs for fuel, staff, and goods which sadly has made the events unfeasible. We will be reopening for our huge New Year's Eve celebration and are looking forward to a series of new collaborations and experiences at the venue in the new year."
