Protesters will gather on Saturday and Sunday in two separate pro-Palestine marches. On Saturday, a south west regional protest will take place at College Green calling for the liberation of the Palestinian people.
The protesters will gather at 1pm, as they have been doing almost every two weeks since October. The circular march around the city centre will begin and end at College Green with speakers, including co-founder of Palestine Action Huda Ammori.
Wael Arafat, who went on a three-month hunger strike triggered by an Israeli air killing family member in November, is among those speaking.

Other speakers include the former Bristol University professor David Miller, who recently won a landmark case against the university which sacked him for anti-Zionist comments several years ago.
Protesters will set off from College Green at 1.30pm and head down St Augustine’s Parade and then march on to Christmas Street, Quay Street, Nelson Street, Union Street, Horsefair and left on to Penn Street. The march will then head back to College Green along Broad Weir, New Gate, Wine Street,High Street, Baldwin Street and Anchor Road.
On Sunday 21, a gathering will take place outside Elbit, the Israeli-owned defence company in Filton. A 'cavalcade' will take place from Clifton Down to Filton. Protesters are encouraged to arrive on a set of wheels- bicycle, car, motorbike, van and display banners from their vehicle.
A spokesperson from Bristol Palestine Alliance, organisers of Saturday’s protest, said: “We are watching the genocide of Palestinians live on our screens, and still our government continues to give their support and supply arms to Israel.
“The unchecked six-month Israeli bombardment on Gaza, attacks on the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq and Israel's provocative attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus that Iran has now reacted to, have unsettled the entire region and made the world a much more dangerous place. The genocide in Gaza and the supply of arms to israel must end."
