Taylor Swift has released her highly-anticipated new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was revealed to be a surprise double album this morning (April 19). Many of the tracks are speculated to be about her ex boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn - including So Long London.
There are a couple of other tracks however fans are convinced are about her most recent ex, Matty Healy. After her split with Joe, Taylor briefly dated the 1975 frontman.
The lyrics in The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived has plenty of fans certain it's a dig at the 35-year-old British singer. At the beginning of the song, Taylor can be heard letting out a weary sign before going on to refer to a man in his "Jehovah’s Witness suit... who the f*** was that guy?"
She adds: "You tried to buy some pills from a friend of friends of mine. They just ghosted you... Now you know what it feels like..." Masses of Swifties have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the new track.
On X, Onlittlelight wrote: "Naming her song “the smallest man who ever lived” means Taylor went for something really personal. Matty Healy’s height." Deansmidnights posted: "The smallest man who ever lived was insane Matty Healy just got assassinated."
DAlbayda added: "MATTY HEALY THE SMALLEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED." mars2027_ declared: "The smallest man who ever lived is about Matty Healy." AliciaMPZ penned: "The smallest man who ever lived is 100% about Matty Healy. Jahova Witness suit?!!?!"

Taylor has also seemingly addressed why she dated the 1975 singer in Fresh Out The Slammer. Following news of Taylor and Joe's break up on April 8, 2023, reports emerged in May of the popstar dating Matty Healy.
The pair had previously dated back in 2015. Taylor referred to this in the lyrics: "Now pretty baby, I’m running back home to you. Fresh out the slammer I know who my first call will be to."
On May 3, 2023, the first report of Swift dating The 1975’s Matty Healy broke. Days later, Healy was spotted at Taylor's May 5 Eras tour concert in Nashville, Tennessee - having flown 17 hours to attend.
The two singers were both on tour at the time. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that during their shows that week, they each mouthed: "This one is about you. You know who you are. I love you."
