Drivers faced long queues on a motorway in Bristol after a crash this morning (April 20). One lane was closed on the M4 eastbound at junction 19 after the collision was reported, just before 11am.

According to traffic monitor Inrix, delays along the busy road have since cleared. National Highways said congestion and queues were expected until around 12.30pm. Inrix initially reported: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M4 Eastbound at J19 M32 (Bristol)."

Traffic had eased on the motorway by around 1pm.
