Inside West Country coastal hideaway worth £3 million that could be won for £10
The retreat comes with a hot tub and breathtaking views of the Cornish countryside.
A gorgeous five-bedroom house in Cornwall, valued at £3 million, could be yours in the latest Omaze prize draw. This coastal hideaway comes with a hot tub and stunning views of the Cornish countryside.
The home is part of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, which also includes a cash prize of £100,000 and supports the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Just a hop, skip and jump from St Agnes beach, the house sits high up, offering dreamy views of the charming village below.
It's mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. The lucky winner will also bag £100,000 in cash and can choose to live in the house, rent it out for extra income, or sell it to become a cash multi-millionaire, just like the winners of the last two Omaze dream homes in Cornwall. Local estate agents reckon it could rent for between £3,000 and £4,000 per month.
The property boasts a private driveway leading to a landscaped courtyard with plenty of parking, all surrounded by trees and lush gardens. According to Omaze, the house itself is a shining example of modern architecture, finished to an exceptional standard. Its design celebrates the surrounding environment with lots of windows, letting in natural light and showcasing the beautiful scenery.
Inside, a spacious entrance hall with a natural stone floor and vaulted ceiling leads to an open plan kitchen, dining and family area. With herringbone oak floors throughout, this space truly is the heart of the home. The kitchen boasts a high ceiling and hand-made cupboards, a big island, lots of storage, built-in fridge/freezer, three ovens and other "all the fancy things you'd expect in a posh house". There's also a walk-in pantry with wooden shelves and a big "American" style fridge for drinks.
The snug family area is part of the big kitchen/dining space and there's a big stone fireplace. Big sliding doors open up to a stone patio. The large living room has another stone fireplace, lots of sliding doors and high ceilings.
Downstairs, there are two large bedrooms and a bathroom with a standalone tub and separate shower. The boot room is "a special bit of the house that leads to big cupboards for coats and shoes and a cupboard for keeping towels warm" which goes through to the laundry room. A beautiful granite staircase takes you upstairs where there's a glass landing and a big window at the front.
The main bedroom has amazing views over St Agnes and its own balcony at the back with even more great views. The place where you get dressed has custom wardrobes, a spot to sit and do your makeup and a small balcony. The private bathroom has a standalone bath and a big walk-in shower.
The second bedroom in this house has windows with views to the back and side, a big Juliet balcony and an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath. The third bedroom is great for kids, with a mezzanine den and access to the back balcony.
The balcony gives you amazing views over St Agnes, while a garden/studio room can be used as a home office. The front of the house has a southeast facing stone terrace, perfect for breakfast in the morning sun.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped with native trees, shrubs, plants and hedging. A large lawn leads down to a lower lawn area, with another terrace featuring a hidden hot tub. Mature trees provide privacy throughout.
"This house is ideal for those seeking a relaxed coastal lifestyle, surrounded by natural beauty," says Omaze. "Nearby St Agnes blends traditional Cornish heritage with modern coastal living.
"This charming village, known for its character and charm, offers stunning coastal walks and golden sandy beaches. The narrow streets are lined with quaint cottages, independent shops, cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs.
"The area is famous for its outdoor lifestyle, from the dramatic cliffs of St Agnes Head to the rolling hills of the surrounding countryside. The South West Coast Path runs through the village, offering spectacular views of the rugged coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.
"There's also plenty of opportunities for surfing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cornwall, will not only make a lucky winner a multi-millionaire but also raise money for WWF - the world's leading independent conservation organisation."
James Oakes, chief international officer at Omaze, said: "We're delighted to be partnering with WWF for our latest house draw. By offering this gorgeous house in Cornwall, along with £100,000 in cash, we're giving people the chance to live mortgage and rent free for the rest of their life - as well as raising money for charities whilst introducing them to brand new audiences that they otherwise wouldn't reach. We're tremendously proud that the Omaze community has already raised over £31 million for good causes across the UK."
Omaze has promised WWF a minimum donation of at least £1 million and hopes to raise even more.
Besides the Grand Prize, those who enter by midnight on Sunday, March 10, could also win an electric Porsche Taycan. All entrants have a chance to win gift cards throughout the draw.
There's also an extra £50,000 cash prize available for Omaze subscribers in the Monthly Subscriber Cash Draw.
All Omaze participants have a chance to win gift cards throughout the draw.
