The Audison AVCX 3P is a three-way passive crossover meticulously engineered to facilitate bi-amplification and seamless integration within the Audison VOCE II series. This crossover is specifically designed to harmonize the performance of the AV 3.0 II midrange speaker with other VOCE II components, ensuring a coherent and balanced soundstage. The AVCX 3P’s design supports distinct amplification of the woofer, midrange, and tweeter, allowing for precise control over each frequency band. This setup is ideal for achieving the optimal blend of sound dynamics and clarity, tailored to the sophisticated setups demanded by modern car audio enthusiasts.
Audison Voce II, the second generation of our iconic VOCE speakers, challenged us—to rethink how we design, test, and manufacture speakers. We’ve revamped materials, supply chains, assembly techniques, and packaging. Our goal was to “unlearn” to innovate and to “reinforce our expertise” where we knew we were on the right track. This dedication ensures that every aspect of VOCE II not only meets but exceeds the sophisticated demands of today’s car audio enthusiasts.

Designed to embody the purest expression of Audison acoustic philosophy, the AVCX 3P is the ultimate 3-way passive crossover developed for seamless integration within the VOCE II speaker system. Engineered with precision and flexibility in mind, it enables advanced system configurations with bi-amplification support, ensuring accurate tonal balance and dynamic control across the woofer, midrange, and tweeter sections.
The AVCX 3P is the ideal complement for the AV 3.0 II midrange, working in perfect harmony with VOCE II components to create a coherent, high-resolution soundstage tailored to the most refined listening environments. With premium components, versatile contour controls, and high-current design, it is the foundation of a truly audiophile-grade passive 3-way setup.
Unleash the full potential of VOCE II. With control, power, and purity—down to the finest detail.
To ensure uncompromising audio performance, the AVCX 3P is built with premium-grade passive components, carefully selected for their outstanding electrical and acoustic properties. It incorporates bi-metalized polyester film capacitors rated at 160V with an ultra-low Dissipation Factor (DF), preserving signal integrity and delivering pristine transparency in the mid and high-frequency ranges.Complementing this, the use of air-wound inductors made from pure copper wire up to 1 mm in diameter provides a high saturation threshold and reduces energy loss, ensuring consistent and distortion-free response in the woofer section, even during high-current and dynamic playback. Additionally, aluminium-housed resistors are employed for their exceptional thermal stability and acoustic neutrality. These components minimize parasitic inductance and high-frequency losses, ensuring reliable and linear operation even under the most demanding listening conditions. Together, these carefully engineered elements form the backbone of the AVCX 3P, delivering accurate, dynamic, and emotionally engaging sound reproduction in line with Audison’s VOCE legacy.
The Audison AVCX 3P crossover is designed to offer maximum tuning flexibility and acoustic precision for advanced car audio systems. Supporting bi-amplification, it features a high-current switch that enables independent amplification of the woofer and tweeter, ensuring optimal performance under high power loads. Its two-position Mid-Contour control allows precise adjustment of the mid-bass response, tailoring the output to the woofer’s placement and the listener’s preferences. Complementing this is the Hi-Contour control, which fine-tunes the tweeter’s high-pass crossover point for seamless integration based on the tweeter’s position and angle. These contouring tools work together to support a fully customizable system configuration, enabling perfect synergy between the AV 6.5 P II mid-bass, AV 3.0 II midrange, and AV 1.1 II tweeter. Further refinement is provided by the three-position tweeter level switch, offering 2 dB steps for tonal precision, and the Hi-Boost control, which enhances frequency linearity above 10 kHz to compensate for off-axis tweeter placement. The result is a smooth, natural soundstage tailored to the vehicle and the listener.
