Audison’s R&D department has been working tirelessly to deliver more advanced capabilities – here is what we get in bit Drive 1.2
Chime Integration
With Chime Integration, we keep the “info” in “infotainment”! Chime Integration gives us the best of both worlds – it lets us enjoy reference-quality Full DA audio from any Toslink digital source – such as our B-CON High-Resolution Bluetooth Receiver – while automatically integrating any non-entertainment sounds played over the OEM sound system. Chime Integration isn’t just for chimes, it also delivers handsfree audio, navigation prompts, telematics calls, and other audible alerts. This optional feature is also completely configurable for automatic operation in any system, in any vehicle.
Side Note – in this case, “non-entertainment sounds” is used to describe the sounds as individual audible events, and so “sounds” is accurate”
Optical Priority
AF Forza has enjoyed automatic switching to the optical source since its introduction – if you were using our B-CON high-resolution streaming receiver. Now, AF Forza has extended automatic Optical Priority for any Optical source. This feature is also selectable and configurable for each application.
Microphone Calibration Support
One of bit Drive’s most popular features is the integrated RTA, which uses your measurement microphone to quantify the sonic energy in the vehicle. Now, your microphone’s unique frequency-response correction file can be imported, making the measurements displayed on bit Drive’s analyzer screen even more precise.
Maestro AR Integration
Many have been waiting for the announcement that full Maestro integration was active on AF Forza, and that day has arrived! Maestro AR deletes all OEM processing from the audio signal – and in most cases this includes noise cancelling and fake exhaust! Maestro AR isn’t just an audio interface – it also translates the OEM network’s instructions for Volume, Fader, Tone, and more, and relays them to AF Forza as high-speed digital commands.
Maestro AR covers 19 different vehicle makes, in over 1300 vehicle configurations, and over 120 different vehicle models (starting all the way back in 2006). Many are supported in both amplified and non-amplified configurations. Recent coverage additions include many models from Subaru, Hyundai, and Kia, in addition to wider coverage of the Stellantis brands. Automatic source switch by signal detection on the Optical inputs. The user can configure:
- Preferential memory
- Release and attack time for the switch
- Minimum Input level on the chosen Optical input
- Volume to apply at the switch
Fully compatible with Audison B-CON
