Hundreds of scooters ride through South Bristol today
The St George's Day ride takes place annually by members of the Robins Scooter Club in Bristol
With the roar of 100 mopeds, the annual St George's Day ride out set off in South Bristol. Members of the Robins Scooter Club gathered at The Robins Pub in Ashton at 1pm today (April 21) before riding their decorated scooters through Bristol.
The spectacle takes place every year and regularly sees upwards of 100 people take part. This year the group are raising money for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
The event page said: "The Annual St George’s Day Rideout around our Fantastic City. Meeting at The Robins Pub Ashton from 12pm . All Welcome Scooters Bikes just remember bring your Flags. Please Remember it’s just for Fun and RSCB are not responsible for anything that happens on the ride and All Riders operate within the Law. Thanks."

Club members decorated their vehicles with England flags to mark St George's Day, which is celebrated later this week. The group heads out every year on a tour to mark the day of England's patron saint.
