Home Bargains is selling a 'fun' food plate that can help make dinner time enjoyable, while getting them to eat healthier. For £1.99, parents can get the plate for £1.99.
The plate is split into three sections. One section is reserved for protein-rich foods - including fish, meat, eggs and beans.
Another is for carbs, such as rice, sweet potato and pasta. While the third is meant to be for the fruit and veg is kept.
Each section is filled in with colourful illustrations of various food items with smiley faces. Positive affirmations adorn the rim of the plate too, for example, 'be happy', ' grow up strong' and 'eat healthy'.
The utensil, available in stores, is a hit with mums and dads with children who struggle to eat healthy food. The words on the plate could also help kids develop their reading skills.
There's even a similar designed plate aimed at adults that could not only help you eat better, but potentially lose weight. Similarly, one quarter is labelled 'carbs', another is labelled 'protein' while the rest of the plate is reserved for 'vegetables' - which can help with portion size control.
When the plates were first stocked and shared on social media, they were praised by many shoppers. On Facebook, Zena admitted: "Just got mine today." Valeria added: "Definitely need this."
Emily tagged a friend and wrote: "How cute are these. Matching kiddies ones too lol." Alison exclaimed: "Got have one of these!" Von stated: "Oh I need this." Jemma told a mate: "This be handy for us." Lianne said: "I need these."
