A grandma dressed in a leopard print leotard and armed with a megaphone and boom box speaker has gone viral for her loud support at today's London Marathon. Blaring out a re-worked rendition of "Pump up the Jam", the star supporter joined thousands of other Londoner's cheering on runners on the corner of the Lord Nelson pub, near Island Gardens station.
The woman was in the same spot for over five hours sending good vibes to the 50,000+ runners. Social media users uploaded videos of the diminutive granny, who showed as much energy as the runners themselves as Pump up the Jam blared out.
Some runners even stopped for a snap and to say thanks, clearly thinking it was worth sacrificing their marathon time for. The excitement happened between miles 16 and 17 - a quieter stretch considered one of the toughest on the famous course.
Revelers from the nearby Lord Nelson joined in the fun at one point, along with the rest of the crowds.
