A cyclist has died after following a crash on the A4. The collision involved a cyclist and a van on the road in Wiltshire, between Avebury and Calne.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.55pm on Sunday, April 21 where it was reported a man in his 30s on a bike was struck by a Peugeot Boxer Van. The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported, Wiltshire Police said.
The van driver, a man aged in his 60s, has been released on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue, the police force said.

The A4 was closed between Cherhill and the Beckhampton roundabout overnight and into this morning (April 22)while emergency services investigated the scene. Wiltshire Police are now asking anyone who witnessed the crash to get in contact.
