A caravan has been destroyed in a ball of flames in Bristol tonight (Sunday, April 21). At least 10 firefighters and five police officers responded to a fire involving a caravan on a cycle path between Dings Walk and Union Road in the Barton Hill area at around 8.30pm.
According to a local resident, multiple fire engines were parked in the area as firefighters tackled the blaze. Police officers erected a cordon soon after arrival as they helped investigate the cause of the fire.
Louis Straker told Bristol Live: "It must have started at around 8.30pm. We called 999 at 8.335pm after we heard a big bang then saw the smoke from upstairs in our house.

Photos of the blaze show flames and thick smoke billowing into the air. The cause of the fire is unknown.
